Lake Land puts the rubber to the road on a nearly $150,000 USDA Rural Development grant

This isn't your average "training wheels." Lake Land College Center for Business and Industry recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art TranSim VS IV Driving Simulator, which is designed to provide a realistic tractor-trailer and commercial vehicle driving experience.

Lake Land College offers trip to Rome, Florence and Tuscany

Carole Corder, Charleston; Deb Myers, Neoga; Erin Myers, originally from Neoga; Amy Keitel, originally from Effingham; Chris Kramer, Strasburg; and Susie Kistner, originally from Effingham stand in front of the coliseum in Rome during a study abroad trip in 2008. Lake Land offers non credit trips during summer 2010

Need a get-a-way, but on a budget? Join Lake Land College for an exciting fun-filled trip.  The Lake Land College Community and Professional Development Office will offer non-credit trips during the 2010 summer.  Soak in some sun at the Wisconsin Dells, June 25-28 or become one with the land in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Aug. 9-13.
